About The Position

The Greenridge Group is a prime contractor and consulting firm specializing in Project and Construction Management for major public-sector agencies. We are seeking a Technology Project Manager (TMP) to lead full lifecycle delivery of technology systems across large-scale public capital construction projects within a community college environment. This is a construction-focused technology leadership position supporting projects ranging from $1M-$25M.

Requirements

  • 3+ years managing technology projects in capital construction, facilities, or public infrastructure
  • Experience reviewing construction drawings/specs
  • Experience with structured cabling, VoIP, security systems, or AV systems
  • Experience with public procurement and contract administration
  • Strong budgeting and cost control experience
  • Full lifecycle project experience (planning → turnover)

Nice To Haves

  • PMP Certification
  • Community College or public sector facilities experience
  • Experience with mass notification platforms
  • Unified Communications in AV spaces
  • Network certifications (Cisco, Aruba, PanGen, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, budgeting, design coordination, procurement oversight, installation management, system integration, and operational turnover of: Structured Cabling (Copper & Fiber Backbone), BDF/MDF/IDF buildouts and upgrades, Access Control & Security Camera Systems, Voice & Unified Communications (VoIP migrations and cutovers), Emergency Phones & Mass Notification Systems, Network Switching Infrastructure (PoE, core/distribution), UPS & Telecom Power Resiliency, Classroom, Conference Room & Theatrical AV Systems
  • Manage 5–10 concurrent technology projects
  • Coordinate technology scope during A&E programming and design
  • Conduct drawing reviews using Bluebeam or similar tools
  • Develop technology budgets, lifecycle cost models, and funding validations
  • Review RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Oversee procurement and installation sequencing
  • Ensure system interoperability prior to commissioning
  • Support construction phase coordination and operational turnover
