Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5 Years of Application, Sales, Design, and Quoting Experience.
  • Able to complete responsibilities in a timely, professional, and quality manner.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills; expressing oneself clearly and in technical and non-technical terms.
  • Collaborative and effective team player and able to work within teams.
  • Demonstrate ability and willingness to learn; seek out development activities to improve skills and increase knowledge; learn from other team members and own mistakes.
  • Take initiative, seek, and act on opportunities to improve organization performance.
  • Strong listening, verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Proficient with MS Office: Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Technically competent in application questions about residential and commercial unitary equipment.
  • Ability to navigate within the HVAC Partners Website, and other essential software programs.
  • Ability to navigate within Ferguson, and Industry related websites.
  • Friendly, cooperative, and positive phone skills.
  • Must be proficient with the company ERP system, including but not limited to inventory, product availability, and tracking.
  • As needed, provide submittal data and O&M manuals to the Outside Sales Team, customer accounts, and engineering community.
  • Provide a communication link between the factory, customers, and the Outside Sales Team.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with outside sales, field technicians, and customers, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services at all times
  • Assist with filing warranty claims
  • Support “House Account” sales and growth activities while promoting additional pull-through opportunities.
  • Perform Take Offs on Plan & Spec and Design Build projects as needed.
  • Provide customer quotes in a timely and accurate way.
  • Perform other work responsibilities as requested.
