Location: Bowie, MD; Hybrid Your Responsibilities: Plans and analyzes assigned projects, establishes schedules and project parameters and sets procedures to accomplish system objectives, involving complex contracting applications. Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project. Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel as required/necessary. Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority. Coordinates project activities regarding government regulatory or other governmental agencies such as required project permitting. Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required including generating tasks, estimates, dependencies; milestones; and conducting Project Analysis through required project documentation such as AIA. Establishes a professional relationship with the customer and interfaces constantly to maintain accurate status reports and project reviews Prepares project reports for management, client, or others. Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the forecasted cost at completion. Responsible for timely completion of assigned projects and customer satisfaction. Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and assigned staff. Obtains acceptance and timely sign-off of the project by the customer. Responsible for the successful completion of the project. Assist Coordinator in obtaining required subcontract agreements or project documents required for file. Your Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (PE license preferred). 4–6 years of experience managing mechanical HVAC projects. Expert in hydronic and airside systems including chillers, boilers, and air handling units. Strong understanding of HVAC industry standards, codes, and best practices. Ability to travel up to 25% as required. The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $107,900 to $178,400 in Maryland. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
