About The Position

We live that statement every single day. We are looking for a Project Manager / Estimator to help support that mission at our Platte Center location. The Project Manager / Estimator is responsible for managing critical power projects from estimating and proposal development through delivery, startup, and project closeout. This position requires a strong electrical background, the ability to understand engineering documentation and Bills of Material (BOMs), and the skills to coordinate schedules, pricing, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to customer expectations.

Requirements

  • Strong electrical background with experience in electrical or power systems
  • Proven experience in project management and estimating
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, one-lines, and engineering documentation
  • Experience developing pricing estimates and managing BOMs
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Electrical Engineering experience or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with generator systems, switchgear, UPS, or industrial electrical systems
  • Familiarity with startup and commissioning services
  • Project Management certification (PMP or similar) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop accurate project estimates, pricing, and proposals for critical power systems projects
  • Review drawings, specifications, and scope documents to define project requirements
  • Create, validate, and manage Bills of Material (BOMs)
  • Coordinate project schedules, equipment delivery, and installation timelines
  • Manage projects from award through completion, including procurement, startup, commissioning, and closeout
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle
  • Coordinate with engineering, production, logistics, field service, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Track project costs, budgets, change orders, and profitability
  • Support troubleshooting and technical resolution during installation and startup as needed
  • Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, standards, and customer specifications
