About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Estimator to oversee residential and light commercial construction and renovation projects from pre-construction estimating through final completion. This role combines cost analysis, subcontractor coordination, scheduling oversight, and field leadership to deliver high-quality builds across Berkshire County. The ideal candidate brings strong construction knowledge, financial oversight skills, and a client-focused approach to managing renovation and new construction projects.

Requirements

Proven experience in residential or light commercial construction project management
Strong estimating, budgeting, and project coordination capabilities
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Solid understanding of construction means, methods, sequencing, and scheduling
Professional client-facing communication and leadership skills
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Valid driver’s license and ability to visit job sites as required

Responsibilities

Manage residential and light commercial construction projects from estimating through closeout
Prepare detailed takeoffs, cost estimates, and competitive proposals for renovation and new construction work
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and material procurement
Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
Track change orders, cost performance, and job-site progress
Communicate proactively with clients and internal teams to manage scope and expectations
Ensure adherence to quality standards and construction best practices
Support seamless transition from pre-construction planning to active build phase
