About The Position

We are actively hiring an experienced Project Manager / Estimator to lead commercial asphalt and paving operations throughout the Scottsdale area. This position is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle — from pre-construction bidding and cost analysis through execution, field oversight, and project closeout.
This opportunity is ideal for a construction professional who understands asphalt production, commercial paving operations, and scheduling logistics, and who can confidently oversee multiple active projects across the Scottsdale region.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience managing or estimating commercial asphalt and paving projects
• In-depth understanding of asphalt materials, paving equipment, and field production processes
• Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently while maintaining cost control
• Strong project scheduling, budgeting, and documentation skills
• Comfortable reviewing blueprints, specifications, and site development plans
• Professional communication skills with experience in client-facing environments
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites throughout the Scottsdale, AZ region

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive quantity takeoffs and competitive cost estimates for commercial paving, resurfacing, sealcoating, striping, and repair work
• Oversee awarded projects from contract execution through final completion and billing
• Direct coordination of field personnel, subcontractors, trucking logistics, and material vendors
• Build and manage project timelines, monitor budgets, and maintain accurate job cost reporting
• Conduct site visits across Scottsdale and surrounding areas for pre-construction planning and production oversight
• Evaluate daily production output, asphalt yield, and adherence to quality control standards
• Manage documentation including RFIs, change orders, cost adjustments, and project performance metrics
• Maintain consistent communication with commercial clients and internal operations teams to ensure alignment on scope, schedule, and expectations
