This opportunity is onsite in La Porte, TX, United States. #LI-Onsite The Role Wood is seeking a motivated Project Manager to lead small to moderate capital and maintenance projects within an operating chemical manufacturing facility . Ideal for someone with practical experience in I/E, mechanical, or light civil work —from craft, operations, engineering, or project management—who is eager to grow and coordinate multi‑discipline projects in a plant environment. Oversee project financials including forecasting, cost control, margin performance, and cash collection. Develop project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans. Coordinate multi-discipline work with operations, maintenance, engineering, and vendors. Lead change management, negotiate scope adjustments, and maintain strong customer relationships. Provide regular progress reporting and proactively address risks or delays. Ensure team competency, promote performance improvement, and support HSSE programs. Manage project information, documentation, and close-out activities. Qualifications What makes you remarkable? Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline.
• PMP/APM certification preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant industry experience, including 2–3 years managing projects or major project components.
• Strong understanding of project management practices, scheduling, estimating, risk management, and contract models.
• Experience in oil & gas, chemical manufacturing, petrochemical, or heavy industrial environments preferred.
• Safety‑focused with strong risk awareness.
• Excellent communicator, influencer, and relationship builder.
• Customer‑oriented with strong negotiation and problem‑solving skills.
• Flexible, decisive, and able to work independently while knowing when to escalate.
• Commercially minded with a pragmatic, improvement‑driven approach.

Nice To Haves

• PMP/APM certification preferred.
• Experience in oil & gas, chemical manufacturing, petrochemical, or heavy industrial environments preferred.
