About The Position

14519 – Project Manager / Business Analyst (onsite) – Tallahassee, FL Start Date : ASAP Type: Temporary Project Estimated Duration : 12 months with possible extensions Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.

Requirements

  • Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required)
  • Experience managing successful, large-scale IT projects that included software analysis, design and programming. (10 years)
  • Experience delivering projects on the agreed schedule, to the correct technical specification (i.e., defined to meet user requirements) within the approved budget and other specified criteria. (10 years)
  • Experience with Change Management. (10 years)
  • Experience with Risk Management. (10 years)
  • Experience developing detailed project documentation and presentations. (10 years)
  • Experience meeting facilitation and documentation. (10 years)
  • Experience using Microsoft Project to track and maintain projects. (5 years)
  • Experience with User Acceptance Testing methodologies and documentation. (10 years)
  • Experience with data design/modeling and SQL relational database concepts. (5 years)
  • Experience as a software developer or a comparable skill that translates into communicating effectively with the software development team. (5 years)
  • Experience with case management principals and software development. (5 years)
  • Experience writing test cases / scripts. (5 years)
  • Experience in the collection and analysis of data and software process evaluation and improvements. (5 years)
  • Experience determining and documenting user requirements. (5 years)
  • Experience with government or health industry software. (5 years)
  • Experience with case management software. (5 years)
  • Experience supporting and utilizing TEAMS, Skype, and/or webinar tools. (5 years)

Responsibilities

  • Create a project management portfolio (including but not limited to project plans, risk assessments, and governance documents) as directed by the Department.
  • Develop requirements, processes, and determine data needed to create tasks gathered during Joint Application Requirements (JAR) and/or Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions as directed by the Department. As directed by the Department, create a support ticket in the ticket system for each task following the BSCIP Software Application Design Standards document.
  • Oversee and assist the team with writing code, stored procedures, SQL queries, or any other work necessary to perform system functions, following the Department's Brain and Spinal Cord Injury Program (BSCIP) Software Application Coding Standards document, as defined in user requirements as directed by the specific support ticket request.
  • Review test plans for acceptance testing to meet user-defined requirements, following the BSCIP Software Application Testing Procedures document, as directed by the specific support ticket request.
  • Oversee the promotion of code modifications and coordinate the logistics of the Department's change management process, following the BSCIP Software Promotion Procedures document, as determined by the Department.
  • Travel to perform tasks as directed by the Department. All travel must be authorized prior to travel taking place following Department policy.
  • Provide technical support for users experiencing technical difficulties by troubleshooting issues, performing research, making recommendations, and implementing the necessary fixes as directed by the specific support ticket request.
