About The Position

The Project Manager / Business Analyst serves as a bridge between business units and IT, supporting project management and business analysis activities. This role assists in coordinating system changes, evaluating business processes, and ensuring successful project execution. The position is responsible for supporting project teams, gathering and analyzing data, and helping drive process improvements across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in a technical or business field) or equivalent experience.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in project management, business analysis, training, or related roles (internships or coursework may count).
  • Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies (waterfall, agile, etc.).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in data analysis and statistical tools is a plus.
  • Banking or financial institution experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, organization, and execution of projects from inception to completion.
  • Assist in managing project schedules, tracking deliverables, and reporting status to management.
  • Help ensure projects stay on track and within budget, escalating issues as needed.
  • Contribute to the consistent application of project management methodologies, tools, and documentation.
  • Participate in quality improvement efforts and lessons learned sessions.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Work with end users and managers to evaluate business processes and software, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Gather and analyze data to develop recommendations for system and process enhancements.
  • Translate complex technical findings into simplified terms for presentation to stakeholders.
  • Assist with planning, testing, and implementing system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Document workflows, software configurations, and process changes.
  • Ensure business systems adhere to information security, risk, and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with IT, data analysts, and vendors to resolve issues and implement approved changes.
  • Participate in meetings and project groups, providing status updates on ongoing tasks.
  • Maintain effective interpersonal relationships with staff and management across departments.
  • Support the creation of training programs and documented procedures for project teams.
  • Pursue professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
