About The Position

The Project Manager - BMS is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of large-scale construction projects involving Building Management Systems (BMS). This includes initiating projects with kick-off and site layout meetings, managing subcontracted companies, and ensuring strict compliance with client-defined timelines, material orders, project milestones, and delivery schedules. The role involves proactive resolution of on-site issues, active participation in client meetings, and clear communication and reporting to on-site personnel. A key aspect is driving sales for maintenance contracts and project extensions, alongside proposing improvements for cost and procedural optimization. The Project Manager will monitor cost deviations, work quality, and overall project costs, providing weekly updates on project status, estimated timelines, and certification amounts using Navision. They are responsible for defining project timelines and material requirements, requesting necessary resources, and maintaining ongoing coordination with clients, sales, pre-sales, and site management through web-based tools. Finally, the role includes compiling comprehensive final project documentation and ensuring adherence to ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards. The ability to manage up to 8 projects or 20 people simultaneously is required, along with analyzing maintenance contract performance and sales team feedback.

Requirements

  • Experience interpreting technical specifications, drawings, and measurement reports.
  • Knowledge of BMS (Building Management Systems), automation, and control systems.
  • Strong proficiency in office and design tools (Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Presto, Visio).
  • Knowledge of BIM and MS Project.
  • Advanced English level (minimum B2).
  • At least 4–6 years of experience in large-scale construction projects.
  • Experience supporting project sales processes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct kick-off meetings and site layout meetings with the Site Manager and the client.
  • Manage subcontracted companies.
  • Ensure compliance with project timelines defined by the client, including certification of deadlines based on material orders, project milestones, and delivery schedules.
  • Resolve on-site issues, participate in client meetings, and communicate/report these issues to on-site personnel.
  • Drive sales of maintenance contracts and project extensions, proposing improvements to optimize costs and procedures.
  • Monitor cost deviations in installations, as well as work quality and overall project costs.
  • Provide weekly updates on project status, estimated timelines, certification amounts, directly in Navision.
  • Properly define estimated timelines and required materials according to each client’s requirements.
  • Request products, documentation, and necessary resources based on the project plan defined during the kick-off meeting.
  • Perform ongoing follow-up using web-based tools, ensuring coordination and communication with clients, sales, pre-sales, and site management.
  • Compile all necessary information (data, photos, details) provided by the Site Manager for final project documentation, and deliver the final report to the client.
  • Oversee up to 8 projects or manage up to 20 people simultaneously.
  • Analyze maintenance contract performance to propose improvements.
  • Analyze feedback from the sales team regarding project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards.
