What the job involves: We are currently seeking a Summer Intern in Project Management to join our team. In this role, you will learn project planning and coordination, multidisciplinary project execution, and project management tools and methodologies.

Requirements

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree, with 2-3 years completed majoring in Business, Engineering, Construction, or related field
  • Strong organizational and communication skills: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Technical proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Adaptability: Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting
  • Permanent US work authorization required.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet)
  • Interest in construction projects and sustainable building practices or LEED accreditation

Responsibilities

  • Assist Senior Project Managers: Support individual multidiscipline projects up to and in excess of $500,000, including program development, budgeting, planning & design, and project milestone scheduling
  • Project Documentation and Planning: Support project managers in developing project plans, schedules, and documentation while tracking project progress and updating reports
  • Team Coordination and Communication: Participate in team meetings, take meeting notes, and help coordinate communication between internal teams and external vendors
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research and compile data for project decision-making, assist in preparing presentations and status updates for stakeholders
  • Project Implementation Oversight: Participate in services contracting of multidisciplinary project teams, conflict resolution, financial forecasting, customer communication, and project closure
