About The Position

Come join a growing financial technology company that’s leading the marketplace in both the marketing and servicing of credit cards! Continental Finance Company specializes in credit card options for those consumers with less than perfect credit. We are seeking a project management intern to support our operations team. Continental Finance Company interns get real-life exposure to the daily duties of the department. They spend the summer as a valued member of their respective team, learning business skills and assisting with a variety of projects that have an impact on the business operations. An additional focus of the program will be to complete a final project that will be an overview of activities, tasks and experiences throughout the 10-week program.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in and working toward an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, or a related business discipline
  • Available to work 40 hours per week for the 10-week summer program: June 2nd – August 6th, 2026
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort working with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
  • Ability to analyze information, track deliverables, and document processes clearly
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong interest in project management and business operations

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for execution of project tasks outlined by the mentor
  • Work with Project Management and Operations Product Analyst teams on initiatives from an end-to-end project lifecycle perspective
  • Support cross-functional projects by assisting with planning, coordination, tracking, and documentation activities
  • Gain exposure to the day-to-day operations of the Project Management Office (PMO) across multiple teams
  • Assist with gathering project updates, milestones, and deliverables from stakeholders
  • Complete weekly reports and summaries outlining project progress, activities, and outcomes
  • Participate in daily touchpoints with a mentor to review project status, reports, and questions
  • Collaborate with department leads to understand how projects move from initiation through delivery
  • Support the department and company by providing innovative ideas, solutions, and an outside perspective
