The internship will start in May or June 2026, depending on your availability. About the Team At Nutanix, you'll be joining the Project Management Office (PMO) team, a dynamic group of talented professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional service and delivery to our internal and external customers. The team is characterized by its collaborative culture that emphasizes operational excellence and innovative problem-solving. Committed to enhancing our internal and external customers experience, by designing and deploying optimized processes, tools, and metrics to ensure a seamless project delivery. The mission of this team is to deliver maximum advancements in process and workflow improvements, application design, and the latest innovation to elevate our internal and external customers satisfaction in every interaction, reflecting Nutanix's dedication to delivering exceptional support for its enterprise software products. You will report to the leader of the PMO Organization in Worldwide Support which fosters collaboration and empowers team members to take initiative, ensuring that all team efforts are aligned and effectively contribute to overarching goals. The work setup for this role is hybrid, requiring team members to be in the Durham, NC office for 3 days a week, balancing in-person collaboration.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring current or future sponsorship for an employment visa status, such as F1, H1B, or TN.
  • You are pursuing a Bachelor's in Business (Administration, Management) or a related field in Operations Management or Information Technology
  • Highly self-motivated and willing to take personal ownership of all project tasks and deliverables
  • Organized with an ability to think strategically, while driving tactical project and program delivery
  • Comfortable with influencing and communicating with all levels of the organization
  • Excellent understanding of SDLC methodology relevant to Software Tools and Applications delivery
  • Ability to learn Support processes, workflows, and systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to direct project team members across the globe without direct-line authority
  • Understanding of PMP methodology, or Business Analysis

Responsibilities

  • Manage Support related projects and programs end-to-end oversight and delivery
  • Facilitate and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to develop business requirements and solution designs
  • Collaborate with SME’s to develop test plan, test cases, and execution while overseeing UAT
  • Manage, document, and report on project and program progress including: critical gaps and remediation plans to Stakeholders and Sponsors
  • Determine KPI’s and Performance Analytics to measure project and program success
