Leidos QTC Health Services is seeking a motivated Project Management Intern to support the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP) , a critical initiative that delivers medical readiness services to U.S. military Reserve and National Guard members. This internship offers hands-on experience supporting large-scale, mission-driven healthcare operations within a federal contracting environment. The intern will work closely with managers and cross-functional teams to support planning, coordination, tracking, and reporting of program activities while gaining exposure to healthcare operations, compliance requirements, and government program management.

Requirements

  • Current student pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Business Intelligence, Project Management, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Operations Management or related field
  • Typically maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.0 or better
  • Availability to work during the internship timeframe ( June 1 to August 7, 2026 )
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset

  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to changing technologies and priorities
  • Demonstrated leadership ability through community or campus involvement
  • Prior relevant experience or classroom training preferred
  • Familiarity with project management concepts or tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar)
  • Interest in healthcare operations, government programs, or military health services
  • Prior internship, coursework, or experience in project coordination or administration
  • Experience working with data, reports, or process documentation

Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day program coordination and administrative support
  • Track project schedules, milestones, risks, and action items
  • Support preparation of project documentation, reports, and presentations
  • Participate in internal meetings and capture notes, decisions, and follow-up actions
  • Help maintain project trackers, dashboards, and shared documentation
  • Support data analysis related to program performance, timelines, and deliverables
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, logistics, clinical staff, and IT
  • Adhere to program policies, compliance requirements, and data security standards
