We're seeking a Project Management Intern to gain firsthand career building experience with our team. From material handling systems to robotic and aerospace solutions, the work you do will ensure the wellbeing of our clients and customers around the world. The day-to-day activities of this role will vary depending on the current project and department needs. Below are some of the real-world experiences you will gain: Create and manage project schedules in Microsoft Project Work with various departments and external vendors to reduce schedule risks and improve project timelines Plan and track tasks for project resources to execute projects to the plan (engineers, technicians, supply chain, etc.) Assist engineers in designing and machine debugging efforts, and make decisions based on engineering analysis and project or company needs Develop cost estimates and proposals for customer scope of work change requests Monitor, influence, and report on project performance in terms of scope, schedule, budget, and risk. Work directly with customers to address their programmatic or project related needs Develop or update departmental processes and training materials for project managers Success Criteria: As a continuous learner, you'll be tasked with getting up to speed on our existing projects and work closely with our Project Management team, to build creative technical solutions that take on complex problems. This internship will support meaningful projects and you'll get to learn how we deliver breakthrough solutions for our customers. This role requires the application of theoretical principles and creative/analytical techniques typically acquired in a recognized four-year or more academic course of study. Applying what you learned in school with the collaborative power of our team will also give you learning and development opportunities on the job. Using your technical judgment for planning, organizing, performing, and coordinating project tasks and assignments will get you the career experience of a lifetime!
