About The Position

The Project Management Analyst will provide project management support to a federal energy client for research and development (R&D) programs. This role involves working with a project team to support all aspects of the project life cycle, including initiation, solicitation, and procurement. Key responsibilities include monitoring project performance against awards, cost, schedule, and milestones, as well as preparing written reports and briefs to illustrate project status and accomplishments. The analyst will also coordinate and support meetings and conferences, working within a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality output on time and within budget. Direct client interaction is expected to assist with developing and executing R&D projects successfully. Additionally, the position requires assisting with operational analysis and procedures, drafting memoranda, and participating in multiple projects.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with program or project support to a government or research and development organization
  • 2+ years of experience with schedule management, project financial management, quality management, scope management, or project management
  • 1+ years of experience as a Project Management Analyst, Project Assistant, Project Coordinator, Scheduler, or Project Management Financial Analyst
  • Experience with using Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of project management principles
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
