About The Position

The Project Management Analyst provides financial management and administrative support for project activities. Responsibilities include assisting with budgeting, schedules, manpower and resource planning, procurements, and financial reporting. The role supports project planning and execution through financial analysis, schedule development and maintenance, and administrative coordination for meetings and project documentation.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years of experience performing financial management and administrative activities such as budgeting, schedules, manpower and resource planning, procurements, or financial reporting.
  • Experience in two or more of the following areas: Financial planning, analysis, execution tracking, and reporting of funding, including developing and using complex formulas in Microsoft Excel and creating complex financial reports with tables, graphs, charts, or multiple columns. Development and maintenance of schedules and work breakdown structures; preparation of charts, tables, graphs, and diagrams to assist in analyzing problems. Administrative support for meetings including scheduling, coordination, and accurately capturing important items and actions for inclusion in meeting minutes.
  • Experience with DoD purchase and inventory processes, systems, or functions including purchasing materials, supplies, and equipment through vendors on the open market, via contract award, or other standard forms of purchasing, and tracking procurements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to perform financial planning, analysis, execution tracking, and reporting of funding.
  • Ability to develop and maintain schedules and work breakdown structures.
  • Ability to prepare charts, tables, graphs, diagrams, and reports to support analysis and decision-making.
  • Ability to coordinate meetings and accurately document actions and discussion items in meeting minutes.
  • Knowledge of DoD purchasing and procurement tracking processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Naval Surface Warfare Center / DoD Test and Evaluation support preferred.

  • Track procurements.
