About The Position
Ninyo & Moore Geotechnical and Environmental Sciences Consultants has an immediate opening for a Project Geotechnical Engineer in Houston, Texas to perform the following duties: Manage geotechnical, forensic, and construction projects Meet and interact with clients and manage project budgets Coordinate and participate in field activities (boring logs, test pits, trenches, core logging) Evaluate geologic and seismic hazards Conduct forensic evaluations of distressed structures and failed slopes Perform foundation, slope stability, and settlement analyses Prepare geotechnical engineering proposals and reports Provide technical support to staff engineers, geologists, and field technicians
Requirements
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- 4+ years of geotechnical consulting experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and collaborative team player
Nice To Haves
- M.S. in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
- Local Houston-area experience preferred
