About The Position

You will be the Project Engineer for the sustainment operations team within the F-35 Line of Business Engineering (LoBE) organization assigned responsibility, authority, and accountability for execution of Engineering & Technology contracts achieving program cost, schedule, and performance targets. The successful Project Engineer will lead cross-functional project teams across sustainment operations, program management, and chief engineering stakeholders to drive program cost, schedule, and performance targets across high impact, high visibility challenges. Responsibilities will include: Oversee Temporary Field Modification (TFM) process and manage budgets as Control Account Manager (CAM). Integrate and oversee cost, schedule, and performance metrics related to Acceptance Test Facility (ATF) induction. Manage Engineering Contracts related to sustainment (EVMS performance, Integrated Master Plans, and Integrated Master Schedule). Provide technical support between engineering leadership, chief engineering office, and the program management office. Integrate and communicate across cross-functional teams and organizations. Drive the performance and closure of engineering improvement projects. Brief Leadership on projects and contract performance Status. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in engineering/technical discipline or related experience. Program management, project engineering, systems engineering or similar technical experience. Experience developing and managing project/program schedules (Microsoft Project, Open Plan, or Similar). Experience with sustainment engineering and addressing sustainment fleet issues. Ability to obtain SECRET security clearance. Desired skills Experience working with F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO). Certified Control Account Manager (CAM) experience. Understanding of performance based sustainment principles (Air Vehicle Availability, Mission Capability, Life Cycle Cost Avoidances and R&M Metrics). Experience with F-35 systems and tools (PDM, JDL, LDM, APTS, Tableau, confluence, SharePoint, etc). Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
