About The Position

This position is for the F-35 Engineering Project Office supporting the F-35 Reliability & Maintainability Improvement Program (RMIP) as the Control Account Manager (CAM). The successful Project Engineer will be responsible for: Managing RMIP program budgets related to cost, schedule, and performance. Collaborating with JPO, Chief Engineering, Program Management, Engineering IPTs, and F-35 leadership. Leading and facilitating technical and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) discussions across multiple lines of businesses. Providing cost and technical status metrics on a regular cadence. Maintaining RMIP databases and repositories. Candidate is expected to be a motivated self-starter and to be able to work with limited supervision. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Interim secret clearance prior to starting with the ability to obtain a Final Secret Clearance. This position is in Fort Worth, TX  Discover Fort Worth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in engineering.
  • Program management, project engineering, project management or similar experience.
  • Experience managing program budgets and performance as a Control Account Manager (CAM).
  • Ability to acquire Secret security clearance.
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
  • This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Interim secret clearance prior to starting with the ability to obtain a Final Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Control Account Manager (CAM) experience in both labor and material accounts.
  • Experience developing and managing project/program schedules using Microsoft project, open plan or similar tools.
  • Experience with F-35 systems and tools (PDM, JDL, LDM, APTS, Tableau, confluence, SharePoint, etc).
  • Experience with contract management: scope, budget, risk, schedule, and Earned Value Management System (EMVS) principles.
