About The Position

The Environmental Safety & Health (ESH) Staff member provides direct technical support for ESH programs across ~110 AFS sites and ~2,400 Lockheed Martin employees. The role assists with compliance monitoring, incident investigations, industrial‑hygiene activities, and the implementation of corporate ESH initiatives, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment while supporting Aero’s global ESH strategy. Requirements

  • Experience in site‑level ESH program implementation and support
  • Hands‑on experience with industrial‑hygiene surveys, sampling, and data analysis
  • Experience coordinating medical‑services related activities (e.g., hearing‑conservation)
  • Ability to maintain and update ESH policies and regulatory documentation
  • Proven record of compliance, metrics tracking, and regulatory reporting
  • Working knowledge of 8210 requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school
  • Strong familiarity with OSHA, EPA, DOT, DoD/AFMC regulations, and international ESH standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time, including overnight trips to U.S. and OCONUS sites as budget permits
