We have a great opportunity for a Project Engineer. This role is under the direction of the Engineering Manager is responsible for engineering support to all Divisions and Departments of the Ohio region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required.
  • Selected candidate must be a Registered, Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio or the ability to obtain PE license within one year from hire date.
  • Excellent verbal, written and organization skills are required as is the ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects.

Nice To Haves

  • Four or more years of experience in water and wastewater is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning for assigned divisions/systems.
  • Coordination of monthly capital meetings with operational personnel, tracking capital and reporting to senior management on capital.
  • Driver/coordinator of the 5 year capital plan for assigned divisions/systems.
  • Modeling and review of all waterline and sewer projects.
  • Responsible for design of assigned projects (out of ordinary projects – tanks, boosters, lift stations, WTP projects, WWTP projects, regulating vaults, etc.).
  • Setup on Powerplant and Lawson for all assigned projects.
  • Responsible for submittal of any required permits and approvals.
  • Responsible for obtaining necessary easements for all assigned projects.
  • Responsible for bidding, preparation and obtaining approvals for requisitions.
  • Manages construction.
  • Responsible for the processing of invoices.
  • Completes all necessary paperwork needed for accounting to close the project.
  • Responsible for Due Diligence for possible new acquisitions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
