About The Position

The Project Delivery & Improvement Manager is responsible for coordinating the successful delivery of assigned projects while also driving continuous improvement initiatives across operations. This role combines traditional project management duties with process optimization, operational analysis, and industrial engineering principles to improve efficiency, quality, cost, and delivery performance. The role operates in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and requires a self-starter who can work cross-functionally to implement sustainable improvements. This position reports to the Director of Project Management.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Working knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, or similar).
  • Ability to analyze processes and data to drive fact-based decisions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management or analytical tools.
  • Thorough understanding of contracts, engineering drawings, specifications, and operational processes.
  • Ability to remain flexible, proactive, and effective in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Project Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, operations, manufacturing, construction, or process improvement roles strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, coordinates, organizes, and oversees the execution of assigned projects to ensure delivery on time, within scope, and aligned with customer and business requirements.
  • Develops detailed project plans, schedules, and resource requirements; manages timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Regularly communicates with sales, engineering, CAD, manufacturing, supply chain, installation, subcontractors, vendors, and customers regarding project status, milestones, risks, and estimated completion dates.
  • Partners with Sales in contract reviews, revisions, and change management; ensures contractual commitments are understood and adhered to throughout project execution.
  • Identifies project risks, constraints, and obstacles; proactively implements mitigation strategies to minimize delays, cost overruns, or quality issues.
  • Coordinates continuous improvement initiatives using process mapping, time studies, root cause analysis, and data-driven problem-solving techniques.
  • Applies industrial engineering principles to improve workflows, capacity utilization, labor efficiency, material flow, and system performance.
  • Analyzes operational data and KPIs to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities; supports the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Facilitates cross-functional improvement projects to standardize processes, reduce waste, improve throughput, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Supports the development and documentation of standard work procedures and best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.
