About The Position

Merrick & Company is looking for a full-time Project Delivery Coordinator within our growing Water Practice at the Greenwood Village office. Our Infrastructure Engineering Water Practice provides professional engineering services related to drinking water, wastewater, stormwater, and river restoration. The Delivery Coordinator is an integral part of project teams, providing administrative support to project managers and technical staff through the full project delivery lifecycle, from marketing pursuits to contract preparation, project execution, and closeout. The Project Delivery Coordinator brings a service mindset to their project teams, facilitating the use and development of technical and risk mitigation resources in support of quality engineering solutions for complex watershed challenges. The successful candidate will have the ability to manage complexity, communicate effectively, and maintain meticulous organization. This is a hybrid position. Typical salary range for this position is $60,000.00 - $80,000.00. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Requirements

  • Experience in administrative and/or project management roles. Experience in the consulting engineering sector is preferred.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly the latest versions of Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Candidate must have strong problem solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills as well as oral and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with project management software is preferred.
  • Experience with construction administration software is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support project managers and infrastructure engineering production staff in adhering to project schedules and budgets.
  • Facilitate standardized contract preparation, invoicing, deliverable production, and project closeout.
  • Use project management systems to transparently track and report critical project information, including budget and deliverable deadlines, and ensure that project teams have the necessary resources to deliver excellent projects on time.
  • Organize project files, including contracts, budget trackers, financial documents, deliverables, meeting notes, and invoices.
  • Work closely with QA/QC reviewers to ensure that project deliverables consistently meet a high technical standard. This includes document control, adherence to quality management procedures, and brand consistency across projects and clients.
  • Communicate, collaborate, and coordinate with project design teams, project managers, subconsultants, and clients. Apply lessons learned and best practices across multiple projects.
  • Actively listen to the needs of project team members and identify areas for continuous improvement in our systems and processes.
  • Must become proficient in the application of standardized Merrick project coordination procedures.
  • Provide meeting planning and general administrative support.
