About The Position

Nakupuna Consulting is seeking to hire a Project Coordinator to work as a member of the project management office, focused on the implementation and configuration of advanced wireless networking infrastructure in support of the Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN-N) Wireless Lifecycle Refresh and Expansion. This role will be integral to delivering end-to-end wireless solutions across six USMC installations as part of a high-impact modernization effort under the PEO Digital ISTC Program Office. The Project Coordinator will support the gathering and interpretation of technical information, enabling cross-team collaboration, and supporting change management activities. A successful candidate will be responsive, have excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and listening), be a team player, promote consensus, embrace learning, and be a consummate problem solver. They will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, have a positive can-do attitude, and be confident in analyzing business processes and sharing suggestions for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to comprehend, analyze, and synthesize complex technical information.
  • Understanding of Project Management principles associated with Network Engineering, Information Technology and Agile Project Management
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Applications (primarily Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Project)
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance and Common Access Card (CAC). Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers.
  • Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer.

Responsibilities

  • Operating and maintaining Common Access Cards (CAC) for USMC Management and Engineering Team members.
  • Supporting the Travel and Expense Reports for USMC Team Members.
  • Supporting Travel and Logistics Planning events for USMC Team Members.
  • Assisting in the creation of complex and professional documents and work products that communicate project aspects to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Tracking and maintaining action items using Agile Processes and Methodologies.
  • Working with management and engineering teams to organize and draft supporting documents for client meetings and presentations.
  • Working with management and engineering teams to conduct weekly Project Status Review (PSR) meetings with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supporting the creation of PSR meeting minutes and maintain required actions and activities lists for tracking project progress and ensure timely submission of completed reports at client-specified frequency.
  • Assisting Project Managers in developing and maintaining a project plan throughout the duration of the project.
  • Keeping Nakupuna Solutions leadership abreast of project execution, and any issues (e.g., production, equipment/facilities, manpower, project delays, etc.) of potential impact to achievement of client requirements/deliverables or requirements exceeding defined scope of work.
  • Participating in Team meetings, client, and milestone meetings; maintain ongoing awareness of project status.
  • Demonstrating problem solving skills when facing impediments.
  • Supporting the creation of processes and procedures governing effective/efficient project execution.
  • Supporting the development and execution of cross-training plans to ensure continuity of operations, staff development and optimal product quality.
  • Assisting Nakupuna Solutions Leadership as required to prepare required documentation, deliverables, or other duties as assigned.
  • Supporting the management and oversight of business growth opportunities for the Facilities and Infrastructure Services (F&IS) Line of Business. Activities may include:
  • Identification, qualification and bid of opportunities to secure new contracts across multiple Federal agencies in the F&IS market space.
  • Supporting Call Plans and Pipeline as well as lead the capture efforts for new business initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of compliant, responsive, and compelling proposal responses.
  • Supporting the creation of marketing materials such as past performance write-ups, briefs, and white papers.
  • Assist in managing project budgets, including forecasting, variance analysis, and financial tracking using advanced Excel spreadsheets.
  • Maintain financial data integrity in spreadsheets, track and reconcile project expenses, revenues, and financial metrics, generating reports for stakeholders.
  • Perform Estimate at Completion (EAC) analyses to predict final project costs and identify potential overruns or savings.
