About The Position

Calspan JETS is the global leader in ground-based jet engine testing solutions. We design and deliver advanced facilities, electro-mechanical systems, and software that power the aerospace industry—from airlines and OEMs to MROs—ensuring jet engines around the world are safe, reliable, and ready for flight. We’re looking for a Project Coordinator to support project execution teams by maintaining alignment between internal project execution plans, contract delivery dates, business objectives, and an overall portfolio level resource plan. In alignment with Project Engineering, the Project Coordinator facilitates the flow of information and actions across the Operations departments throughout the project lifecycle. Heavily focused on data processing and task management, the primary areas of influence include prompt response and closure of departmental tickets, open action analysis, risk assessment, providing guidance to project engineers and project managers related to project-level changes, and quick action in support of critical objectives.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in relevant field and/or applicable professional certifications.
  • 3+ years experience in a related discipline.
  • Previous experience in a related project-centric, technical, data management, or communications position.
  • A combination of education and experience equivalent to above.

Responsibilities

  • Continuously review and complete open tickets assigned to the team, manage data and task-related changes across the portfolio of projects.
  • Provide administrative support: track task-level progression, review potential changes to upcoming activities, escalate outstanding issues, close open actions.
  • Define implications related to change requests: communicate changes/risks to relevant stakeholders.
  • Analyze the Execution Plan baseline information and support project engineers with cost and schedule impact assessments related to internal requests.
  • Support interdepartmental engagements by attending meetings, disseminating actions, distributing assignments.
  • Assist is the development of proposal and project schedules.
  • Track and status departmental deliverables such as drawings, specifications, and test procedures in alignment with project execution plan schedules.
  • Track and define themes, trends, and support root cause analysis for issues noted in the portfolio.
