What you will do: The Project Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the management of projects from startup to closeout, including but not limited to: Prepare submittals for customer and engineering review. Create purchase orders and communicate job release requirements to vendors. Track delivery dates, maintain shipment summary and assist in communicating this information regularly to customers. Assist in maintaining project bill of materials and customer. Help to manage freight claims & return material requests. Perform project close out financial review and address any open items. How you will do it: Utilization of internal programs such as Eclipse & Job Management and an ability to navigate vendor tools necessary to complete tasks in a timely manner. Assist in maintaining strong communication between the customer, vendors, account manager and project team members. Obtain support from Account Manager or team leader when necessary. Execute project work plans as outlined by your team leader. Manage day‐to‐day operational aspects of a project and scope. Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to client. Understand pricing strategy and billing procedures. Assist in identifying issues, work with team members to resolve issues in a timely fashion and escalate when appropriate. Maintain up to date financial records for all active projects. Monitor and facilitate all Pro Logistics Services activities related to projects under management. Perform any other duties assigned that contribute to customer service, OPCO profitability and company success. Practices good interpersonal relations, using tact, courtesy, a positive attitude toward customers and co-workers, pleasant telephone etiquette, and a general attitude as a representative of goodwill on behalf of the company at work or during company travel. Handles difficulties with customers and co-workers with diplomacy and seeks assistance when needed.
