About The Position

At NorthBay Health, the Project Coordinator for the Clinical Education, Magnet Program and Patient Care Services (PCS) Division plays a key role in supporting project management activities and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations within the department. This position is responsible for coordinating and executing project-related activities, supporting team members, organizing resources, and maintaining documentation for ongoing clinical education and patient care initiatives. In addition to project coordination, this role includes general administrative support to aid division leaders and staff, such as scheduling, managing communications, and handling logistics. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and has a strong background in both project coordination and administrative support. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience required.
  • Minimum 2 years preferred, 1 year of experience in healthcare industry and 2 years’ experience supporting projects, or equivalent.
  • Project management and analytical skills preferred.
  • Knowledge of project management best practices and project management tools (such as project plans, status reports, and gantt charts) required.
  • Proficient with technology and software program administration.
  • Proficient with Microsoft suite of products, in particular MS PowerPoint and MS Excel required.
  • Leadership, strong verbal and written communication, conflict resolution, self-starter, works independently, organizes workload.
  • Ability to effectively resolve complex issues simultaneously and escalate when appropriate.
  • Requires prolonged hours of standing and sitting and some walking.
  • Requires extensive use of telephone and computer keyboard.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with MS project a plus.
