About The Position

The Project Coordinator Intern will support project coordination for server rack build engagements at SHI’s Data Center Factory. This role will assist the PMO team in planning installations, scheduling resources, tracking project milestones, and maintaining quality control. The intern will collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and customers to ensure successful delivery of rack build projects. This position offers hands-on experience in project management and operations within a dynamic data center environment.

  • Effective communication with stakeholders and participation in status calls – Basic
  • Problem identification, resolution, and contribution to quality/process improvements – Basic
  • Coordination of logistics and product delivery – Basic
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Microsoft Teams – Basic
  • Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in good academic standing working towards a bachelor’s degree.
  • Must be available to participate for the full 12-week internship duration.
  • Must be able to work onsite as required by the internship program.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Basic experience in project coordination or management – Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist with coordination of multiple server rack build projects from initiation to completion
  • Help plan, schedule, and track project timelines and resource assignments
  • Support review and approval of project documentation and billing records using project management tools
  • Participate in status calls, communicate expectations to stakeholders, and track deliverables
  • Help identify project issues and recommend resolutions
  • Coordinate product delivery tracking and logistical support
  • Contribute to quality control and process improvement initiatives
