About The Position

Akima Infrastructure Services, LLC (AIS) is seeking Engineering, Professional, Technical, and administrative support personnel for its staff augmentation team, supporting the Department of Energy at the Y‑12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and the Pantex Plant in Amarillo, Texas. Successful candidates will be AIS employees, a premier government contractor, dedicated to advancing Y-12's core mission of ensuring a safe, secure, and reliable U.S. nuclear deterrent. Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree plus 10-14 years direct experience, or MA or MS with 10-13 years’ experience.
  • Must have heavy Primavera P6 experience.
  • Demonstrated skills in cost control, change management.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain DOE Q clearance.
  • Must be a US citizen, at least 18 years of age.
  • Able to meet pre-employment requirements including any required physicals, drug screen, and/or background investigation to satisfy clearance requirements from the Department of Energy.
  • Successfully complete a post-offer, pre-employment drug test.
  • Participation in an ongoing random drug testing program if identified as a Workplace Substance Abuse (WSAP) testing designated position.

  • DOE Q clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Planner, Scheduler, Project Controls support, including P6 experience, schedule development and maintenance, cost analysis and control, earned value measurement, and reporting.
  • Manage development of cost, schedule, and risk plans, collection of performance data, tracking data, and analysis.
  • Develop forecast of estimate to complete, and reporting.
  • Ensure identification and tracking of changes/potential changes to project scope, ensuring estimates of cost changes and schedule impact are given visibility with client and PM.
  • Manage integration of cost and schedule data and reporting with company’s accounting and management information systems to facilitate meeting company performance and financial goals.
  • Participate in planning, development, monitoring, and control of project scope, cost, and schedule integration.
  • Perform other corresponding duties.
