About The Position

Join our team as a Project Controller! This is a hybrid role based out of our Edina, MN office. The position is salaried and includes eligibility for overtime pay. The Project Controller will assist Project Managers as requested with project budgeting, planning, and scheduling. In addition, the Project Controller will assist the Department Manager in the performance of departmental duties related to project controls, budgeting, planning and scheduling. Project work varies across a multitude of industries, sizes and clients.

Requirements

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in Project Controls or equivalent
  • Thorough working knowledge of current Windows environment, primarily Project, Word, Excel, Teams, and Planner
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and/or Primavera software (including planning and developing schedules)
  • Experience in the development and use of cost control tools including EV reporting.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in business and/or engineering related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers with the development and maintenance of Budgets, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Earned Value Reports and all related cost control tools.
  • Assist Project Managers with the development and maintenance of proposal and project schedules, as requested.
  • Assist Project Managers with development and maintenance of Project Plans, project reports, customer reports, etc., as requested.
  • Assist Project Managers with the coordination and execution of Document Controls on a project.
  • Assist Project Managers with the coordination and tracking of Purchased Items on a project.
  • As assigned by the Department Manager, assist with the training and development of others with regards to job cost, planning, scheduling and other project related activities.
  • As assigned by the Department Manager, assist with departmental and organizational Process Improvements; including our Project Operating Processes and Vision Lifecycle Guide.
