This opportunity is ideal for professionals who possess an aptitude for organization, strong communication skills, and an eye for detail and problem-solving. Attention to detail will be a valued trait for updating project schedules and preparing project reports. Monitoring client document control systems to route project inquiries, review status changes, and track upcoming deliverables is a key aspect of this role. The Project Controls Specialist II should be proficient with Project Management software, utilizing Gantt charts. The role is responsible for maintaining project schedules using status updates provided by the project team as well as those conveyed through document control systems. This position is hybrid in our San Diego or Irvine, CA office. As a Project Controls Specialist II, you’ll be part of a collaborative team that values innovation, curiosity, and continuous growth. You’ll contribute to meaningful projects that drive environmental and infrastructure solutions, while engaging Verdantas employees and clients to understand their needs. Monitoring client document control systems to route project inquiries, review status changes, and track upcoming deliverables is a key aspect of this position. The Project Controls Specialist II will communicate frequently with project teams and Project Managers to monitor and report on design status, billing status, and other key performance indicators (KPIs). This role will demonstrate the ability to identify problems, understand their root cause, and take ownership of resolving the problem.
