About The Position

Tom Curren Companies Project Consultant (In-Home Sales) Location: Newton, MA (In-Home / Outside Sales) Tom Curren Companies is a respected residential general contracting company serving the Greater Boston area for nearly 40 years. We are seeking a motivated Project Consultant to grow into a top-performing in-home sales professional through structured training, coaching, and hands-on experience. This role is ideal for someone with early in-home sales experience who wants a clear process, strong mentorship, and real earning potential. You'll develop strong selling fundamentals, industry knowledge, and client communication skills while working toward senior-level performance. Reports to the Vice President of Sales.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of demonstrated in-home commissioned sales experience
  • Proven ability to build rapport and close residential clients
  • Money-motivated, with a strong work ethic and desire to grow
  • Coachable, curious, and open to feedback
  • Comfortable using CRM systems, computers, iPads, and smartphones
  • Must be able to reliably travel to in-home appointments and attend weekly meetings at the Newton office.
  • Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-home consultations from company-provided leads
  • Measure and quote home improvement services with support from designers and estimators
  • Learn and follow a structured sales process from consultation through close
  • Use CRM tools to manage pipeline activity and follow-up
  • Maintain professional communication with clients throughout the sales cycle
  • Conduct job site visits to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Attend weekly sales meetings for coaching, training, and mentorship
  • Represent the company professionally at all times

Benefits

  • Base salary: $50,000 plus monthly commission
