Tom Curren Companies Senior Project Consultant - Residential Remodeling (In-Home Sales) Location: Newton, MA (On-Site/In-Home Sales) Tom Curren Companies is an established and growing residential general contracting company serving the Greater Boston area for nearly 40 years. We are seeking talented in-home/outside sales professionals who are passionate about home improvement and motivated to grow their income while learning from a highly successful sales team. Our Project Consultants work with homeowners in some of Boston's finest neighborhoods via our Design/Build process, selling high-quality remodeling and home improvement services. You will educate homeowners on Tom Curren Companies' Design/Build services, guide them through project options, and differentiate our company from other contractors, while following a defined, proven sales process. This is a full-time role reporting to the Vice President of Sales.

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of demonstrated in-home commissioned sales experience
  • Proven annual sales volume of $1.25M
  • Money-motivated with a strong desire to win
  • Consultative, confident selling style with a natural hustle
  • Willingness and ability to learn and follow a defined sales process
  • Comfortable using CRM systems, computers, iPads, and smartphones
  • Resides within 1 hour driving distance of the Newton office
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent follow-up and time-management skills
  • Strong listening, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
  • Professionalism, dependability, accountability, and punctuality
  • Coachable, competitive, and goal-driven
  • Results-oriented and self-motivated
  • Able to work independently without close supervision
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-home consultations from company-provided and self-generated leads
  • Measure, quote, and sell home improvement services, including: Kitchen, bath, and whole-home remodeling Interior and exterior painting Cabinet painting Carpentry, windows, siding, and doors
  • Follow a structured sales process to identify client needs and present tailored solutions
  • Use CRM and company tools to track opportunities and manage pipeline activity
  • Maintain consistent, professional communication with clients throughout the sales cycle
  • Conduct job site visits to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Verify customer satisfaction upon project completion
  • Build long-term relationships to generate referrals and repeat business
  • Attend weekly sales meetings for coaching, training, and mentorship
  • Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and reliability at all times
