Yearout Mechanical is a New Mexico based company specializing in the installation of mechanical and process systems for the commercial, government, manufacturing and industrial communities of New Mexico and Texas. Summary: Core duties of a data entry specialist include maintaining data integrity and organizing information efficiently. Tasks are to be accomplished within well-defined procedural time limits, with occasional non-routine work involved. Ensure open communication with Project Administrative Manager and Project Assistants on a daily basis.

Requirements

  • Video Data entry: accurately inputs, labels, and tags video content into databases or content management systems
  • Prioritize appropriately with good time management skills.
  • Work cohesively with all team members and produce quality work while meeting deadlines.
  • File electronically using alpha & numeric systems.
  • Proficient with various office equipment, including; copiers, scanners and computers.
  • Visual Stamina: The ability to focus on screen-based tasks for extended periods.
  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy in reviewing video content.
  • Clerical – Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems, such as word processing, spreadsheet maintenance, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology.
  • English Language – Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar.
  • Customer and Personal Service – Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. Including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Computers – Knowledge of computer software, including applications.
  • Administration and Management – Basic knowledge of business principles involved in planning and production methods.
  • Communication – Effectively communicating as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
  • Active Listening – Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
  • Reading Comprehension – Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents.

Responsibilities

  • Video Tagging: Classify videos by adding relevant tags, descriptions, timestamps, and keywords to improve searchability and content organization.
  • Data Entry & Transcription: Input video information into spreadsheets and SharePoint
  • Quality Assurance: Review video data for accuracy, identifying and correcting errors or missing information.
  • Content Verification: Cross-reference video content with source documents to ensure data integrity.
  • Data Organization: Sort, store, and backup digital video files securely
  • Meetings-Per PA or PM request.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Review source documents and company files to identify and correct discrepancies.
