Roles & Opportunities Sika is looking for an experienced Project Chemist to join our growing team in Madison Heights, MI. At Sika, the Project Chemist will: Perform product maintenance Conduct in-depth chemical reviews Present results to our customers TS Audit responsible

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience
  • College degree in science experience in DOE, Design FMEA, and other quality programs

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working on teams for audit preparation
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Microsoft Office proficient
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with the customers

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical support to manufacturing plant to assure product quality and performance
  • Responsible for transferring new products/technologies to production
  • Adapt existing DFMEA and set up for new modified products
  • Evaluate new technologies, raw materials, and processes
  • Manage product maintenance process independently
  • Initiate technical presentation from raw material suppliers
  • Leads TS 16949 Audit for the R&D team
  • Perform special projects and other assignments as directed by manager
