About The Position

As the Project Billing Associate, you will have the opportunity to:   Be responsible for invoicing of assigned projects and ensures contract terms are followed regarding correct billing rates and schedules Be responsible for basic to intermediate level billings Work closely with Project Accountants and Project Controls personnel Answer project management questions regarding project billing criteria and invoice drafts Work under close supervision

Requirements

  • Typically two years of experience or Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years related experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) and Oracle, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Generates, audits and distributes draft client invoices and/or credit memos to Project Management for review based on understanding of contract
  • Obtains appropriate approval, finalizes invoices, and distributes accordingly
  • May support project invoicing related analysis, as assigned by providing requested information
  • May support continuous improvement efforts and the change management effects associated with the implementation of improvement
  • Primary internal clients are project managers, project controls, finance managers and/or finance supervisors
