About The Position

XLA is looking for a Project Assistant to support a federal agency in Arlington, VA. This is an onsite position Monday-Friday. Salary: $50,000 General Experience: Relevant experience may include coordinating and performing general financial and project duties. Experience in spreadsheets, data entry, and word processing. Functional Responsibilities: Provide program/project-wide organizational and financial support. Working with minimal supervision, provide support for the accomplishment of project/program objectives. May include document preparation, providing meeting support and maintaining spreadsheets and reports. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel spreadsheets, and electronic messaging is necessary. Minimum Experience/Education: Associate degree and two years’ experience. This position supports the Transportation and Relocation Section. Candidates will work with government employees in support of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) moves. Duties may involve de-obligation of PCS funds, email correspondence between government employees and carriers used to transport household affects, process real estate voucher and invoices, assist with PCS travel modifications, and update files as needed.
