About The Position

Work to help BPHC advance as an antiracist organization by meeting or exceeding the standards set by the BPHC Anti-Racism Policy; Contribute to an anti-racist, people-centered culture of co-learning and cross-collaboration. Hybrid schedule available (3 days in office; 2 days WFH)

Requirements

  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn about the role of public health in addressing racism, the social determinants of health, and inequities in health outcomes as well as strategies to advance racial justice and health equity.
  • High School Diploma/GED and three (3) years of related experience.
  • Associate's degree with (2) years related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of one (1) year's related experience.
  • Experience can include full-time/part-time work, internships, community organizing, and/or volunteer work
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and work independently as appropriate.
  • Demonstrate knowledge & experience with MSOffice, MSWord/Excel, Windows, Canva and/or other software.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support including scheduling meetings, taking meeting notes, drafting agendas, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to project deliverables such as drafting, formatting, and editing reports/presentations and creating project visuals.
  • Assist with collecting and reporting progress and performance measures to funders in compliance with federal grant reporting requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records while tracking timelines of multiple, fast-moving projects.
  • Make project purchases as directed and collaborate with the Bureau Administrator and Finance Department, as appropriate.
  • Adapt to changing project team needs and assist with additional tasks as required.
