About The Position

Nelson Mullins is seeking a Project Assistant to join our New York City office and provide essential administrative and transactional support to attorneys and paralegals within our R eal Estate and Capital Markets team. In this role, you will assist with the coordination, organization, and execution of complex real estate and finance transactions, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and smooth workflow across all stages of each project. This position offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of substantive responsibilities including document preparation, due diligence support, closing coordination, file and database management, and routine communication with internal team members. The Project Assistant plays a vital role in maintaining the team’s momentum by delivering timely, organized, and high‑quality support throughout each transaction lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Whether working independently or in a team environment, you always stay organized and meet deadlines.
  • You’re a communication pro and recognize the importance of strong verbal and written communication to a busy team’s success.
  • You demonstrate close attention to detail and provide an accurate, neat and thorough work product, all while maintaining the ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities.
  • You're knowledgeable of relevant software programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to learn new software and operating systems

  • An interest in working for 2 years prior to pursuing further education is a big plus.
