About The Position

Inside the Role This position leads the efforts to define the strategy and key strategic initiatives for Aftermarket Solutions and is responsible for the tracking and accountability mechanisms to ensure realization of key business objectives. This position leads and provides directional steering for the business leadership team on all Aftermarket Solutions activities supporting Planet/People/Performance functions. This position serves as the face and voice of Aftermarket Solutions both internally and externally and is responsible for all business compliance and risk management requirements. What You Drive at DTNA Lead a team of direct reports Drive the overall business toward all elements of our envisioned future through leadership team steering and accountability. Provide leadership and development to both the direct report team as well as the larger Aftermarket Solutions team as a member and representative of the top leadership team. Manage all strategic business initiatives from development/creation through successful execution. Manage all initiatives and compliance activities with Planet (Environmental), People (Team and Community) and Performance (Governance). Manage all internal and external communication within Aftermarket Solutions. Manage all internal and external event planning including industry event representation. Develop, manage and optimize top level leadership KPI scorecard to ensure leadership team focus on most critical operational topics. Manage all leadership team coordination including presentations, talking points, meeting planning/preparation as well as accountability processes (tracking and progress updates). Serve as liaison between staff, executives, senior leaders, regarding company climate, employee well-being, project updates, proposals, and planning. Interface for internal and external audits. Other duties as requested. Examples of key focus areas include: Strategic PMO Lead the strategy formulation process with the Aftermarket Solutions Leadership team. Lead definition of annual strategic initiatives. Provide tracking, updates and facilitate escalations/adjustment discussions of all strategic initiatives with key stakeholders. Planet Lead sustainability initiatives – Including increased focus on end-to-end supply chain carbon footprint. Lead Global Circularity focus – In Use/End of Product Phase Ownership. Provide coordination and leadership team updates on operations environmental certifications. Lead efforts to incorporate CO2 credits into business case analysis and annual reporting. People Manage people focused initiatives including safety culture. Coordinate all Culture & Belonging initiatives including wellness and psychological safety. Coordinate all community outreach and support. Provide coordination and leadership team updates on operations safety certification & compliance. Performance Develop and manage Aftermarket Solutions business scorecard. SQDCME + P&L Visibility & Steering. Coordinate leadership team visibility and steering of all regulatory requirements. Lead annual target setting and cascade of goals/initiatives/targets. Coordinate all internal audit/assessment activities including compliance actions. Lead and coordinate all leadership team discussions around legal entity product growth. Communication Coordination of all AMS communication – newsletters, townhalls, announcements. Events Coordination of all AMS events and Detroit Campus representative for Aftermarket. Leadership Team Coordination Agendas, meeting planning and action item coordination. Presentation and talking point/speech development. “Face” of Aftermarket Solutions and key contact point both internally and externally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineer. Business or related field.
  • 8 years of related experience.
  • 2 years of demonstrated experience in project management or direct involvement in project-based work, preferably within a cross-functional environment.
  • Demonstrated strategic mindset, including the ability to analyze business needs, identify long-term opportunities, and support or lead strategic initiatives that advance organizational goals.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze current processes, identify, and implement solutions.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and experience.
  • Must be well organized and have the ability to manage multiple planning/implementation activities simultaneously.
  • Experience with data analysis.
  • Experience with budget management.
  • Familiarity with operations .
  • Nimble business mind with a focus on developing creative solutions.
  • Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication.
  • Proficient PC skills Microsoft Office Excel, Access, PowerPoint, & Word.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong aftermarket business acumen, with an understanding of parts, service operations, and customer support dynamics.
  • PMP certification or equivalent formal project management training.
