About The Position

The Digital Engineering Project Data BI Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the successful execution of large capital projects by delivering high-quality data analysis, reporting, and documentation. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills who can manage project documentation, enforce established processes, maintain configuration management, and leverage Power BI to provide actionable insights into project performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, or Engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in data management and data visualization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.

Nice To Haves

  • Expertise in Power BI, including dashboard development, report creation, and data visualization.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate data-driven insights.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software.
  • Knowledge of configuration management principles is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports to track project performance, KPIs, and key metrics.
  • Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare and distribute regular project status reports and executive-level updates to stakeholders.
  • Follow and enforce established project management and governance processes to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Maintain and update configuration management databases and systems to track project changes and ensure data integrity.
  • Support data accuracy through validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
  • Create, update, and manage project documentation, including meeting minutes, project plans, reports, and presentations.
  • Facilitate effective communication among project team members, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Coordinate information flow to ensure timely and accurate sharing of project data and updates.
  • Support collaboration across cross-functional teams to enable informed decision-making.
  • Review and proofread documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards.
  • Provide general administrative support to the project team, including correspondence, filing, and data entry.
