About The Position

United Electric Supply Co. Position Summary Proactively manage projects while maintaining overall project profitability and a high level of customer service. Utilize the project management process (SPI) while providing departmental support.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience in effective conflict resolution.
  • High School Diploma required

Responsibilities

  • Communicate shipping updates to the customer weekly, at a minimum.
  • Notify necessary parties of changes, errors, or exceptions.
  • Review each project with Quotations Specialist to understand scope of work and project requirements.
  • Communicate directly with customers to review project including details, exceptions, and completion date.
  • Release orders in JMS detailing any exceptions including freight.
  • Maintain Purchase Order financial worksheet to ensure proper project closeout and maximize profitability.
  • Create ship schedule following the process making sure to include all Bills of Material.
  • Maintain communication with Outside Sales and the customer.
  • Send customer ship schedule with notes of ‘Hold for Release’.
  • Work with operations regarding logistics for managing jobs.
  • Participate in joint sales calls to understand customer needs.
  • Market project management capabilities internally and externally.
  • Manage financials, run invoice register, reconcile, and update customer.
  • Request Record Drawings from Manufacturer or Rep.
  • Process O & M per Purchase Order requirements.
  • Participate in pre-job and project review meetings.
  • Attend vendor classes and factory visits.
  • Engage in Lifelong Learning activities and meet yearly requirements.
  • Performs other duties as obvious or assigned.
  • Adhere to all United Electric health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Act in a safe and positive manner always, ensure that those around you do not put themselves or others at risk. Your personal safety is your responsibility.
  • Complete an accident/Incident report for any safety and/or health infractions that occur or are witnessed.
  • Support all United Electric health, safety, and environmental policies for all employees within your branch.
