You'll play a key financial role on a large-scale internal technology project, keeping budgets, forecasts, and cost reporting accurate and on track. Working closely with project managers and stakeholders, you'll translate complex financial data into clear insights that support informed decision-making. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in project accounting or a related field
  • Proficiency in SAP (required)
  • Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication abilities and comfort working cross-functionally

Nice To Haves

  • experience with Apptio One or Target Process is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Support financial planning for the project, including time recording and valuation, capitalization, and PO forecasting and actuals
  • Investigate variances between budgeted and actual costs and deliver clear insights to project managers
  • Partner with project managers and stakeholders to provide timely financial information and advance project goals
  • Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and cost estimates using the organization's project management tools
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards, particularly those related to internally developed technology accounting
  • Review contracts and report on project cost performance as required
