As the Programme Manager, Open Access Transformation you will play a pivotal role in operationalizing Springer Nature’s Open Access Transition strategy. Reporting to the Director, OA Transformation, you will be responsible for coordinating and driving the execution of cross-functional initiatives that support the company’s OA growth and transition. This will include acting as a central point of contact between strategic leadership and delivery teams, the Programme Manager ensures that OA-related projects are well-defined, resourced, and tracked to completion. This role requires a strong grasp of project management principles, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans. You will work across publishing, sales, product, technology, and operations teams to ensure alignment with OA priorities, facilitate governance and reporting structures, and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs). You will be highly organized, proactive and comfortable working in a dynamic, matrixed environment. In this position you will contribute to building internal awareness and understanding of OA transformation, helping teams navigate change and adopt new ways of working. This is a high-impact role that supports Springer Nature’s mission to lead the global transition to Open Access publishing.
