About The Position

Wunderkind ads are 'behaviorally triggered', meaning that ads are served on a premium list of publishers only when a user is done consuming content. Our proprietary tag is integrated directly on the publisher page to track on-site user behavior - making 'net new' ad placements. How we serve the ad is why we are different from our competitors in-market. Rather than placing an ad in front of someone while they're actively trying to read content, our technology patiently waits until a visitor has stopped reading before rendering our ad on the page. And that patience pays off -- it turns out that when an ad experience respects the user's reason for visiting a page, the user respects the ad experience in return. This unique, brand safe approach to ad experience gives an advertiser's message more attention and greater engagement. Wunderkind is looking for a top-performing Programmatic Sales Director to work a specified list of agency, trading desk, brand and DSP accounts across the larger east coast region. We are looking for someone with a proven track record of revenue growth and has healthy client relationships.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree plus experience related to digital media or digital advertising
  • At least 6+ years of online advertising sales experience required
  • Ownership and growth of the largest/most strategic territory within the assigned pod to deliver on team and individual revenue targets
  • Extensive experience in the programmatic industry with a track record of successfully impacting business growth
  • A robust network of contacts across the buy side with whom you’ve built rapport and trust
  • Experience selling CPA, CPC, and CPM marketing campaigns
  • Motivated, tenacious, and resourceful
  • Persuasive and compelling
  • Comfortable in a high-growth environment where roles and responsibilities may shift
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for the marketing technology space and a healthy dose of humility

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with DSPs, ad exchanges, ad servers, and other optimization platforms is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Developing a holistic understanding of the Wunderkind product offering and how its differentiation can best serve your clients' needs
  • Building relationships with multiple layers of decision makers in the programmatic buying cycle (in-house marketers, agencies, and trading desks)
  • Developing and executing effective sales strategies to qualified targets
  • Working hand-in-hand with account managers to ensure accounts are being serviced properly and revenue is maximized
  • Acting as liaison between the market and our internal team to ensure our product continues to evolve with buyers' needs
