About The Position

The Programmatic Manager is responsible for leading the execution, performance management, and strategic advancement of programmatic campaigns across assigned accounts. Reporting to the Director of Programmatic, this role builds upon strong buying expertise with increased ownership of reporting narratives, internal and external communication, and channel-level strategy. This position is best designed for a sharp, analytically driven programmatic professional who can confidently manage campaign execution while elevating insights, recommendations, and presentation quality. The Manager works both downward into tactical execution and upward into strategy discussions, serving as a bridge for buyers and a resource to leadership. The Programmatic Manager plays a critical role in ensuring performance excellence, operational rigor, and continuous improvement across Moroch Digital Solutions’ omni-channel campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 4–6 years of programmatic media experience
  • Hands-on expertise with DSPs, including campaign setup, audience building, optimization, and reporting. The Trade Desk experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate campaign performance into structured written insights
  • Aptitude for and comfort with speaking in professional settings
  • Demonstrated understanding of tracking methodologies, attribution models, and performance measurement best practices
  • Solid familiarity with ad servers and reporting tools (e.g., CM360, DOMO, DSP reporting suites) required.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously
  • Professional maturity and desire to grow into higher strategic responsibility

Responsibilities

  • Oversee campaign setup, trafficking coordination, monitoring, and optimization across various DSP platforms
  • Ensure campaigns launch accurately and on time, stepping into platform execution while elevating workflow standards across the team
  • Collaborate with Ad Operations to implement, QA, and troubleshoot pixel tracking, ensuring proper data capture and alignment with client KPIs and measurement frameworks
  • Own optimization strategy aligned to client KPIs, performance benchmarks, and measurement methodologies
  • Proactively identify and troubleshoot performance issues, implementing advanced bid, budget, inventory, and targeting adjustments as needed
  • Maintain high standards of QA, operational, and financial accuracy, including oversight of billing discrepancies as needed
  • Develop performance reporting, ensuring insights are strategic, actionable, and client-ready
  • Translate DSP data into cohesive narratives that clearly explain performance drivers and optimization rationale, distinguishing between buying insights, optimization insights, and broader strategic implications
  • Identify performance gaps and recommend structured optimization roadmaps
  • Elevate reporting standards across accounts by improving clarity, visual storytelling, and written insight quality, serving as an example for buyers
  • Translate client goals and planning inputs into structured programmatic approaches
  • Facilitate avail requests and RFPs both in a self-service and managed-service capacity, in collaboration with DSP vendors
  • Contributes to the evaluation of DSP capabilities, platform updates, and emerging tools to support campaign performance and innovation, translating this into actionable insights for campaigns and internal teams
  • Support the evaluation and responsible integration of AI and automation tools into campaign workflows, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and execution quality.
  • Serve as a key contributor in programmatic performance discussions, presenting campaign updates, optimizations, and insights in internal and client meetings, as needed
  • Maintain strong cross-functional relationships across Planning, Ad Ops, Business Insights, and Account teams
  • Ensure timely, professional communication with vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Lead status meetings for assigned accounts
  • Manage and/or mentor junior team members, providing guidance on programmatic skill development and, when applicable, delivering performance feedback. May include 1-2 direct reports and/or interns in their purview.
  • Supports onboarding, training, and skill development of the team through documentation, templates, and best practices
  • Escalates challenges appropriately, modeling mature, solution-oriented behavior
