About The Position

Join our team at Strategic Sight Consulting LLC for an opportunity as a Program Support Specialist experienced in conducting research, planning travel, calendar management, and Department of Defense correspondence. The esteemed candidate will support government leadership personnel working in an office environment.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI.
  • College degree or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with CATSM and the Defense Travel System (DTS).
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense principles, concepts, processes and reporting tools.
  • Skilled at working with a broad range of stakeholders with competing perspectives and applying diplomacy to effect compromise and cohesion.
  • Ability to multitask, manage complex schedules, and meet changing deadlines.
  • Exemplary communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exemplary project management skills with a high degree of accountability and organization.
  • Proven critical thinker who makes appropriate decisions and finds solutions easily.
  • Extreme attention to detail; takes pride in and ownership of work, and can manage projects from concept through launch with very little supervision.
  • Must work effectively under pressure while meeting deadlines and delivering superior results.
  • A strong track record as an implementer who thrives on working on a variety of key initiatives concurrently.
  • Proven ability to work within tight timelines with high-quality output.
  • Sincere commitment to working collaboratively with all constituent groups (members, staff, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Prepare correspondence, including white papers, reports, letters, and other forms of official communications intended for internal and external audiences.
  • Refine and maintain filing systems and standard operating procedures, such as scheduling, communications, and travel.
  • Plan, organize, and schedule meetings in the office, off-site, and via videoconference.
  • Answer and transfer phone calls, screening when necessary.
  • Welcome and direct visitors and customers to meetings and office visits.
  • Maintain a system for recording expenses.
  • Coordinate and schedule travel for managers or supervisors.
  • Record and distribute minutes or other records for meetings.
  • Respond to and resolve administrative inquiries and questions.
