Program Supervisor - Day Program (IDD Services)

Sevita is looking for a Program Supervisor to lead our Day Program operations. This is the perfect "next step" for experienced caregivers who want more responsibility and a better work-life balance.
As a Program Supervisor, you are the bridge between our mission and our daily impact. You will supervise a team of DSPs, manage schedules, and ensure our Day Program provides high-quality, person-centered support that encourages independence.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, or 5 years of caregiving experience in place of education
• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and insurance
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• A compassionate heart and a natural drive to lead by example

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
• Assist with hiring, training, and scheduling staff
• Help maintain a structured, engaging day program environment
• Ensure high-quality care and smooth daily operations
• Step in to provide hands-on support when needed (meals, meds, personal care)
• Encourage independence and community participation for individuals served
• Lead by example through strong communication, compassion, and teamwork.
