About the Residential (IRA) Program Supervisor Role The Residential (IRA) Program Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day program operations, ensuring high‑quality care, and supervising all direct support staff. This leadership role supports individuals with ID/DD in living safe, meaningful, and fulfilling lives in an Individual Residential Alternative (IRA) setting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree and three (3) years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to use a personal vehicle to transport individuals.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication; computer proficiency required.
  • Ability to be physically active throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift or assist individuals as needed (up to 20 lbs. frequently), including providing personal care or physical management support.

  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise program operations and all direct support staff, ensuring high performance and consistent, high‑quality care.
  • Ensure continuity of services and person‑centered care; collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized service plans.
  • Provide staff instruction, coaching, and oversight on residential habilitation, policies, procedures, and program goals.
  • Respond effectively to emergency situations; utilize SCIP‑R and behavioral management techniques.
  • Share on‑call responsibilities with the Assistant Supervisor, ensuring staffing coverage, conflict resolution, crisis intervention, incident notification, and staff debriefing.
